post number one. beginnings.

I've had mixed feelings about blogging since discovering the trend two and a half years ago. Sharing thoughts and feelings is incredibly intimidating without complete strangers or sworn enemies looking over your shoulder. Yet, I spend part of my day reading other blogs, captivated by the beauty of everyday life.

So this is my great experiment, to see if I can navigate between self-exploitation and virtual hermithood. My goals are to post at least 24 times during my 24th year of life, and to post on the 24th of each month. That's a minimum of 2 posts a month, with enough structure to stay focused.

Here's a list of the books I've read/ am currently reading this summer, excluding the Russian Revolution Reading Seminar books and articles. The reviews will come later.
